Wild mountain tea grows 3,200 feet above sea level. This rare tea is also known as ‘shepherds tea’, because the Greek shepherds would make this tea while tending their flocks on the mountain sides.

Another name for the tea is ironwort or winter tea. The locals would make the tea to boost their immune system (during the winter months) and as a delicious revitalizing drink.

Mountain tea is bursting with vital minerals and antioxidants. Our tea is harvested just before the flowers go into bloom when the plant is at its peak for nutritional value.

Mountain tea has a light floral taste with a sweet earthy aroma like nothing else.
